Map of Marco Polo's travels
Editorial
Terre Sauvage, a French magazine dedicated to Nature and wildlife published since 1986, commissioned me to create this practical map of Europe for a special "Exploration" issue featuring stories about explorers who made their mark on history.
This double-page map is part of a 5 pages story and shows Marco Polo's route through Asia and the Middle-East along the Silk Road which he travelled between 1271 and 1295. He provided Europeans with some of their first comprehensive insights into the cultures, geography, and wealth of the Asian continent.
